For over a decade Jean Dumangin Premier Cru has been enjoyed by the British, whose connoisseurs have been known to consume up to 6,000 bottles a year. Dating back to 1895, this little known boutique brand is the epitome of quality, with an exceptional selection of wines to accompany any meal, celebration or summers day.

Premier Wine Imports are delighted to act as sole UK importer of Jean Dumangin Champagnes.

For Jean Dumangin Champagnes, it’s a minimum three year journey from vine to bottle, a full 12 months longer than that required by French law. This additional year allows the delicate flavours of their wines to fully mature, emphasising their unique complexity. Of these vines, six hectares are certified Premier Cru, a recognition of excellence bestowed by the French Government and second only to Grand Cru. This honour instantly places their vines in the top 17% of the region and therefore Champagne production in France as a whole. We know their cuvées are good, very good, but don’t just take our word for it.

Medal Winners at the Concours Mondial Bruxelles

Since their remarkable 1964 vintage, Jean Dumangin Champagne have continued to attract international acclaim winning 7 Gold and 6 Silver Concours Mondial Bruxelles medals in the past six years alone. Committed to impartiality, the awards are adjudicated by 39 nationalities, composed solely of professional tasters, personalities and renowned experts in the field of wine: Oenologists, sommeliers, journalists, wine writers and international buyers and traders are all represented. Although this years event saw a record 7386 producers enter their wines, with 542 of those solely for Sparkling Wine and Champagnes, Jean Dumangin Champagne excelled… yet again.
